As well as a stunning getting ready room & games room, their beautiful Coach House is wonderful for a countryside wedding. The stunning oak beams are adorned with fairy lights for the ultimate romantic atmosphere and rustic feel, the perfect place to exchange vows and say ‘I do’ in front of up to 120 guests including chairs. The stunning arched windows fill the room with natural light and look out over the lawn with our water fountain for a lovely view throughout your day. This all weather ceremony area has underfloor heating and air conditioning too. Or if your dream is to be married outdoors then just picture your ceremony with the beautiful Yorkshire countryside behind you. Their new Front Lawn ceremony area is perfect for those romantic photo opportunities, complete with guest seating for 120 people and a beautiful backdrop frame.
After your ceremony, stay outside to enjoy the fresh air where their beautiful trailer bar will be serving, or head inside the Manor and enjoy a drink in their stunning oak orangery.
Have a moment to take everything in, you have just married the person you love and you can now enjoy spending time with your loved ones as newlyweds. The delicious canapes will be served and the bubbles will be flowing. As a Barnsley based wedding photographer, I have photographed at Spicer manor many times. it’s one of my favourite venues in the Yorkshire region. The staff and venue itself oozes class and friendliness and I’m proud to be a recommended supplier here! Here’s a bit about me..
I’m a down to earth bloke who reckons he takes nice photos, loves a laugh and plenty of banter. On your wedding day I want you to be present with your guests, not stuck with me the whole day. I’ll complete your formal photographs in around 20 mins, so you’re free to roam around your venue and enjoy it! We’ll do a selection of couple shots if you want them, hopefully just after the ceremony and then golden hour.
Other than your formal images I’d describe myself as a documentary style photographer so I’ll capture the day as it unfolds. You might even see me with the drone out soaring above Spicer and giving you a Birds Eye view. By 7pm I’m usually having a pint with you, capturing all the candid moments and blending in with the guests, whilst preparing for your first dance. People book me as I’m so laid back. You won’t even notice me there half the time, which allows people to be relaxed and therefore I get the best photos as they’re off guard!
